Technology Architec in Microsoft Technology Center
Microsoft Technology Center is an important worldwide program of building the Centers to covers the solution lifecycle and provides a “one stop shop” for solution needs, including customers Briefings on strategies and solutions, providing to partners and ISVs assistance in Solutions’ Architecture Design, creation of functional Proof of Concepts and enabling Post Sales Services, Consulting and Support. MTC is positioned to be MS Russia primary marketing instrument towards our customers (in all sub segments) where we can meet to test, feel and drive new technological solutions from Microsoft and our key partners in the Russian market.
MTC is looking for Technology Architect on one of 2 groups of products:
  • Core Infrastructure
  • LOB, BizTalk, Azure, SOA, DevTools
  • Develop strategic relationships with customers, Account Managers, Technical Specialists, Solution Specialists, and Services in regional and vertical account spaces.
  • Position Strategy Briefings (SBs), Architecture Design Sessions (ADSs), and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to our internal and external customers and work collaboratively to determine the best combination/course of action for a given opportunity.
  • Coordinate with affiliated ATU/STU and Services teams and partners to the maximum benefit of the customer. 
  • Nurture opportunities and accelerate them through the Microsoft Solution Selling Process (MSSP), working closely with the virtual account team. Build trust with customers and enable their decision-making process using consultative techniques.
  • Ensure that opportunities are qualified with completeness and accuracy and properly align resources and offerings to opportunities. 
  • Provide technical and process leadership and assistance to the delivery of all engagements within the MTC. Oversee and participate in the delivery of engagements, ensuring high quality, consistent deliverables and high customer satisfaction consistent with MTC best practices. 
  • Drive the continuous improvement of the MTC customer experience through maturation of the engagement processes, team competency, and Data Center readiness. Export operational excellence to all MTCs. Additional responsibilities include overseeing the management and improvement of facility resources, including development suites, networks, and server farms for maximum efficiency and CPE. 
  • Own and manage strong relationships with our Alliance and Preferred Alliance partners; work to ensure that we meet our commitments with these important partners, and that they are highly satisfied with their involvement with the MTCs. Develop understanding of partner solutions relevant to advocate partner solutions to customers. 
  • Contribute to development of overall MTC strategy and FY planning process. Use Microsoft tracking and reporting tools as required to track performance.
  • Technical university (master) degree.
  • 10+ years experience in pre- or post-sale consulting or as an IT professional, 5+ years experience with consultative or solution selling processes.
  • Deep knowledge of respective group of products.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively execute strategic plans.
  • Previous line management experience also highly desired but not mandatory.
  • Strong English (written and verbal).
